1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Viand ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Viand is a social platform that allows users to discover restaurants, write reviews of menu items, share photos, and connect with other food enthusiasts. The Service includes both mobile applications and web-based services.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account information up to date
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent to use the Service.

4. User Content and Conduct

Content Guidelines

When using our Service, you agree not to post content that:

Review Guidelines

Restaurant and menu item reviews should be:

• Based on genuine experiences
• Honest and constructive
• Relevant to the restaurant or menu item
• Free from conflicts of interest
• Respectful to restaurant staff and other users

License to User Content

By posting content on Viand, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content on and through the Service.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To collect or track personal information of others
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent security features of the Service

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Viand and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

We reserve the right to monitor, review, and remove content that violates these Terms. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our guidelines.

10. Disclaimers

The information on this Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude:

• All liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this Service

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Viand, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Viand operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law.
